Job Description: The Associate Rector will work closely with the Senior Pastor in fulfilling the mission of Trinity Church to build a community where faith, family and friendships thrive. This will entail providing spiritual guidance and support, developing and executing ministry, events and outreach, assisting in leading services, and managing the day-to-day operations of the church. There will be a lot of freedom and collaboration to continue building up Trinity Church for the future.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual guidance and support to members of the church and community
• Identify and develop leaders
• Lead worship services and special events
• Preach, teach and disciple
• Oversee church staff, volunteers and ministries
• Develop and execute outreach vision and programs
• Initiate and maintain meaningful relationships with church members and future church members
• Work with Jr. Warden to oversee care of facilities

Requirements and Qualifications

• Degree in theology (preferably MDiv or equivalent)
• 3+ of experience as a pastor
• Ordained within the Anglican tradition; otherwise ordained in a similar tradition with a willingness to be ordained within Anglicanism
• Demonstrated leadership and pastoral experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
