The theme of Winter Conference 2017 was “Behold What Comes.” Throughout the week, mini-talks focused on making healthy disciples, which lead to healthy leaders, which lead to new works and healthy churches. John+ and Anne Coles talked about the Kingship of Jesus in their plenary talks and what that looks like today. We heard from our international partners and celebrated together as five deacons were ordained.

Prayer and Healing Training
More than 40 people came early to Winter Conference to participate in a Prayer and Healing training led by Matt+ Kessler, Dave+ Larlee, and Hunter Mobley.
Opening Worship
+Philip Jones, our Apostolic Vicar, opened Winter Conference 2017 with reflections on the conversion of Saint Paul.
During our opening worship service, we also had a special moment honoring Archbishop Yong, who retired from the College of Consultors this year.

Hearing from Ministry Partners
One of the highlights of Winter Conference is getting a chance to hear how God is working around the world. This year we heard from Father Ivan Sikha of the Anglican Mission in India, Bishop Silas Ng from Anglican Mission and Canada, and a special interview with Bishop James Min Dein, Bishop Kobina Ben Cyril Smith, and Bishop Aaron Kijanjali.
Ordination
Thursday night was a special ordination service. Congratulations to Bryan Chapell, Jim Bridgham, Mark Walz, Brit Carpenter, and Drew Witt to their ordination to the diaconate!
