Dear Friends of the Anglican Mission,
The Lord is here. And his spirit is with us.
I felt his spirit strongly last week at the Winter Conference as many of you did. I continue to see his favor poured out over us and I am thankful. We simply set the table, and God provided the feast.
I want to give a huge thanks to all of you that came together to celebrate, fellowship and worship in Dallas. For some of you the trip was difficult, physically and financially. For others, it was a struggle, wrestling with fears of what you would find there, not wanting to come, or coming to see if the Mission is still standing.
God answered all of us in glorious ways. There were tears of healing, tears of relief, tears of reconciliation, laughter and hugging. There were bishops dancing and singing in their bishop’s robes, spontaneous prayers, and laying on of hands both in the hallways and in the lobby, not only for our participants but also for the staff members at the hotel. Joy flowed out from our meeting rooms and ballroom and into the whole place.
